By car from Dublin Airport (click on link for map) Approaching the main Airport exit, keep to the left-hand lane and follow the signs for the R132 and Swords. At first roundabout ignore the sign for Portmarnock as you can get lost if you go this way. Continue along the R132 for about 3.6km to the third roundabout, the Malahide Road Roundabout. Take the third exit (R106) towards Malahide. Follow the R106 for 3km to its junction with the R107. Turn left. There are no more turns. Follow the R107 through Malahide (1.5km) towards Portmarnock (4.0km). The sea will be on your left. In Portmarnock you will pass the Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links. Great Keppel is about 600m further on, on the same side of the road.
Look out for our black and white B&B sign (illuminated at night). Drive in and park.
By Taxi from Dublin Airport Look for ‘TAXI’ signs in the Arrivals Hall. The taxi rank is right outside the terminal building. Taxi boarding is controlled by a Marshall so just join the queue outside. The taxi fare from the airport to Great Keppel B&B should be about euro16.00 – 20.00 depending on time of day, number of pieces of luggage etc.
By Bus from Dublin Airport Route no. 102 will take you from Dublin Airport to Portmarnock. Ask the driver to let you off at the church in the village on Strand Road. When you exit the bus, turn left. Great Keppel is about 400m along Strand Road, on the same side. Go to www.dublinbus.ie for timetable and fare information.

By car from the Dublin Ferry Port On leaving the ferry, follow the signs to the Port Exit. At the Port Exit, turn left avoiding the entrance to the Port Tunnel and then take the first right onto East Wall Road. Click on the Port Tunnel link at left for a detailed map of the area. Continue along East Wall Road to its junction with Alfie Byrne Road, just before the railway bridge. Turn right. Continue to the end of Alfie Byrne Road and turn right onto Clontarf Road. Follow this road for about 8.0km with the sea on your right. Look for a left turn signposted to Baldoyle and Portmarnock. Turn left. Follow this road for 3.8km to a ‘mini-roundabout’. Turn right. This is the beginning of Strand Road, Portmarnock. Great Keppel B&B is about 1.2km from this point, on the right-hand side. Look out for our black and white B&B sign (illuminated at night). Drive in and park.

By Road from the North-east You will be travelling on the M1 Motorway. Take the exit for SWORDS onto the R132 and follow this road to the MALAHIDE ROAD ROUNDABOUT. Turn left. At the next T-Junction(3km), turn left. Follow this road straight through Malahide Village (2.5km) on to Portmarnock (4km). In Portmarnock, you will pass the White Sands Hotel on the right and Portmarnock Hotel and Golf links on the left. We are about 600m past the hotel on the same side of the road. Look out for our black & white B&B sign, immediately beyond a white thatched cottage. Drive in and park.

By Road from All Other Directions Approaching Dublin on any of the National Roads you will reach an interchange with the M50, the C-ring Motorway around Dublin. Join the M50 northbound to its junction with the M1/N32. Follow the N32 to its junction with the R107 and turn left at the Hilton Hotel. There are no more turns. Follow this road straight through Malahide Village (6km) on to Portmarnock (4km) with the sea on your left. In Portmarnock, you will pass the White Sands Hotel on the right and Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links on the left. We are about 600m past the Portmarnock Hotel on the same side of the road. Look out for our black & white B&B sign, immediately beyond a white thatched cottage. Drive in and park.
